IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-025 (2811/2990) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO AMERICAN CIVIL CONSTRUCTORS, <br />INC., FOR HERON BAY TRAIL FRONTAGE LANDSCAPE RENOVATION, <br />PROJECT NO. 03-147-42-142 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on February 2, 2004, publicly open, examine and declare <br />all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2004-006 of the <br />Council of said City adopted on January 5, 2004, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to <br />for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said <br />resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: .American Civil Constructors, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the <br />Office of the City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Glaze and passed and adopted this 17th day of February, <br />2004, by the following called vote: <br />
