aR f2 BAAQMD FY2003 TFCA Funding Agreement ATTACHMENT B PROJECT DESCRIPTION The TFCA funding application dated June 30, 2003; as supplemented by the letter from Luke Sims on August 19, 2003; is incorporated herein by this reference. Project Title: Shuttle Bus Service -San Leandro LINKS 2. Project Useful Life: 1 year 3. Project Descriptiou: The TFCA Regional Funds awarded by this grant shall be used by the City of San Leandro to provide a shuttle bus service during commute hours for BART passengers between the San Leandro BART station and employment sites on the west side of the City of San Leandro. Two (2) compressed natural gas buses will be used on the shuttle route. The shuttle route will operate on 10- minute headways during morning (6:00 to 10:30 a.m.) and afternoon (3:00 to 7:00 p.m.) peak commute periods, and will make connections with BART service at the San Leandro station. The City of San Leandro will provide the shuttle service with a total of two (2) 25 passenger compressed natural gas buses as follows: Vehicle Engine year (2) 25-passenger 1994 Fuel Type Compressed Natural Gas a.
