IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-052 (3002) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO KEL-TEC BUILDERS, INC., FOR THE <br />MAIN LIBRARY BOOKSTORE, PROJECT NO. 04-210-18-127 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on March 29, 2004, publicly open, examine and declare all <br />sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2004-035 of the Council <br />of said City adopted on March 15, 2004, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br />description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract far doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: Kel-Tec Builders, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the <br />City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Santos and passed and adopted this 12th day of April <br />2004, by the following called vote: <br />
