IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2004-056 (1955/3015) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A GRANT <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF BOATING AND <br />WATERWAYS (DBW) RELATING TO THE SAN LEANDRO MARINA BOAT <br />LAUNCHING FACILITY, PROJECT NO. 150-38-246 <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, the California Department of Boating and Waterways (DBW) has awarded <br />the City of San Leandro a $1,816,000 grant to complete the design and construction of a new <br />boat launching facility; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to the City Council; and the City Council <br />is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the approval of said document. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the grant agreement between the California Department of Boating and <br />Waterways and the City of San Leandro is hereby approved; and <br />2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement and any <br />additional documents necessary to facilitate the transaction. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Santos and passed and adopted this 12th day of April <br />2004, by the following called vote: <br />
