1N THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-074 (1034) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS <br />FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE REQUIRED PROPERTIES AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS <br />FOR THE DAMS STREET/DOOLITTLE DRIVE INTERSECTION PROJECT, <br />THE WESTGATE PARKWAY EXTENSION PROJECT, AND <br />THE MANOR BRANCH LIBRARY PROJECT <br />Pursuant to Municipal Code Section 1-6-106, the City Manager is hereby authorized to <br />execute real property purchase agreements and all other related documents for the property <br />necessary for the Davis Street/Doolittle Drive Intersection project, the Westgate Parkway <br />Extension project, and the Manor Branch Library project when terms and conditions of such <br />acquisitions are within the fair market appraisal obtained by the City or the compensation paid is <br />otherwise fair, just and equitable. <br />Such property acquisitions are considered categorically exempt under California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Section 15332 and a Notice of Exemption will be filed. <br />Such property acquisitions are determined by the Planning Commission to be in <br />conformance with the City's General Plan under government code Section 65402 <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City Manager is authorized to execute agreements for the purchase of property at <br />various locations on behalf of the City of San Leandro. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Grant and passed and adopted this 17th day of May 2004, <br />by the following called vote: <br />
