IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-078 (1242) <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CHANGING THE NAME OF A PORTION OF MARINA <br />BOULEVARD FROM I-880 TO TEAGARDEN STREET <br />TO MARINA BOULEVARD AUTO MALL <br />WHEREAS, a proposal to change the name of a portion of Marina Boulevard, between <br />Teagarden Street and I-880 to "Marina Boulevard Auto Mall" has been made; and <br />WHEREAS, Auto Mall dealerships desire the change and staff has coordinated the <br />proposal with the dealerships and Caltrans. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That a portion of Marina Boulevard between Teagarden Street and I-880 name is to be <br />changed to "Marina Boulevard Auto Mall", and staff is authorized to work with Caltrans to <br />implement the change. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Nardine and passed and adopted this 17th day of May 2004, <br />by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Stephens; Mayor Young (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ABSTAIN: Councilmember Glaze (1) <br />ATTEST: Y ~11~~,~l,~ <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
