IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-085 (2639/2930/3025) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A GRANT <br />AGREEMENT WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT <br />AUTHORITY RELATING TO THE BAY TRAIL BRIDGE PROJECT, <br />PROJECT NO. 144-39-012, AND APPROPRIATION OF MEASURE B <br />FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $250,000 <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA) has <br />awarded the City of San Leandro a $250,000 grant toward the construction of the Bay Trail <br />Bridge project; and <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed the agreement attached hereto and <br />recommends approval, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the Grant Agreement between Alameda County Transportation Improvement <br />Authority and the City of San Leandro is hereby approved; and <br />2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement and any <br />additional documents necessary to facilitate the transaction; and <br />3. That $250,000 be appropriated from Measure B funds. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Stephens and passed and adopted this 7th day of June <br />2004, by the following called vote: <br />
