IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2004-103 (1180) <br />RESOLUTION RESCIlVDING RESOLUTION N0.2003-216 <br />AND DESIGNATING SIGNATURES ON CITY CHECKS AND PERSONS <br />AUTHORIZED TO MAKE FUND TRANSFERS BY TELEPHONE OR WIl2E <br />Section 550 of the San Leandro Charter provides that all City checks shall be authenticated by the <br />signatures of one of two designated persons in the City Manager's Office and one of two designated <br />persons in the Finance Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />Effective June 21, 2004, all monies belonging to the City of San Leandro and deposited in any <br />bank, excepting petty cash funds provided for by Section 550 of the San Leandro Charter, shall be <br />withdrawn by checks authenticated by the signatures of John J. Jermanis or Edward G. Schilling in the <br />City Manager's Office and Jesse S. Baloca or Cynthia Battenberg in the Finance Department. The <br />authorization for these designated persons and Mary McCarthy, Deputy Finance Director, shall also <br />include the capacity to make fund transfers by telephone or wire instruction. <br />And it is further RESOLVED that Resolution No. 2003-216 is hereby rescinded. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Grant and passed and adopted this 21st day of June, 2004, by the <br />following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Badger, Glaze, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Stephens; Mayor Young (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: ,GM <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
