I am the Legal Advertising Clerk of the printer and publisher of The Daily Review, a newspaper published in the English language in the City of Hayward, County of Alameda, State of California. I declare that the Daily Review is a newspaper of general circulation as defined by the laws of the State of California as determined by this court's decree, dated March 2, 1950, in the action entitled In the Matter of the Ascertainment and Establishment of the Standing of The Daily Review as a Newspaper of General Circulation, case number 221938. Said decree states that "'The Daily Review' has been established, printed, and published daily in the City of Hayward, County of Alameda, State of California, for one year or more next preceding the date of the filing of said petition; that it is a newspaper published for the dissemination of local and ___ _t~l~gr~hi~ nevus and intelligence of.a general ckraracter and has a bona fide subscription list of paying subscribers; , .. I declare that the notice, of which the annexed is a printed copy, has been published in each regular and entire issue of said newspaper and not in any supplement thereof on the following dates, to wit: 7/5/04 I certify (or declare) under the penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct. °~-~11 ~ r Public Kdtice Advertising Clerk Legal No. 0000377963 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE is hereby given that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held before the City Councl of the Cky of San Leandro in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, California, on Monday, July 19, 21k34 at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing objections or protests of owners of premises liable to be assessed ior; a) Delinquent sewer charges pursuant to 3- 14-820 of the San Leandro Municipal Code. b) Delinquent business license fees pursuant to Sections 2-2-556 of the San Leandro Municipal Code; and c) Delinquent garbage charges pursuant to Sections 3-6-210 of the San Leandro Municipal Code. Said assessments shall wnstitute a lien and will appear on the 2004-05 real property tax bills. Notice is further given that any person aNected or aggrieved by any act or determination o the City of San Leandro or the City Council of said City during fiscal year 2003-04 relating to assessment of delinquent charges for services may appeal therefrom to the Cdy Council. Said appeals, if any, will be heard by the City Council at the public hearing. Any person tilirr~ such appeal may appear and be heard at said time and place.
