IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-153 (3032) <br />RESOLUTION FORMING THE <br />WEST SAN LEANDRO SHUTTLE BUSINESS IlVIPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br />ADVISORY BOARD <br />RECITALS <br />On June 21, 2004, the San Leandro City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2004-013 (the <br />"Ordinance") establishing the West San Leandro Shuttle Business Improvement District, pursuant <br />to the Parking and Business Improvement Area Law of 1989 Section 36500 et seq. of Division 19 <br />of the California Streets and Highways Code (the "Act") <br />The Ordinance and the Act require that the City Council appoint an advisory board which <br />shall make an annual recommendation to the City Council on the expenditure of revenues <br />derived from the levy of assessments pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code, on the <br />classification of businesses, as applicable, and on the method and basis of levying the <br />assessments. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That an advisory board be hereby formed for the West San Leandro Shuttle Business <br />Improvement District consisting of the following five (5) members: <br />• Three (3) members who are business owners of businesses within the Business <br />Improvement District boundaries and not otherwise exempt from paying the assessment, as <br />appointed by the City Council; <br />
