IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2004-153 (3032) RESOLUTION FORMING THE WEST SAN LEANDRO SHUTTLE BUSINESS IlVIPROVEMENT DISTRICT ADVISORY BOARD RECITALS On June 21, 2004, the San Leandro City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2004-013 (the "Ordinance") establishing the West San Leandro Shuttle Business Improvement District, pursuant to the Parking and Business Improvement Area Law of 1989 Section 36500 et seq. of Division 19 of the California Streets and Highways Code (the "Act") The Ordinance and the Act require that the City Council appoint an advisory board which shall make an annual recommendation to the City Council on the expenditure of revenues derived from the levy of assessments pursuant to the Streets and Highways Code, on the classification of businesses, as applicable, and on the method and basis of levying the assessments. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That an advisory board be hereby formed for the West San Leandro Shuttle Business Improvement District consisting of the following five (5) members: • Three (3) members who are business owners of businesses within the Business Improvement District boundaries and not otherwise exempt from paying the assessment, as appointed by the City Council;
