IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />,~p2 i <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-173 (~) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TOG & G BUILDERS, INC., FOR THE <br />MEMORIAL PARK PLAYGROUND RENOVATION PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 165-43-198 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on October 11, 2004, publicly open, examine and declare <br />all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2004-143 of the <br />Council of said City adopted on September 20, 2004, which resolution is hereby expressly <br />referred to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under <br />said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: G & G Builders, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the <br />City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Stephens and passed and adopted this 6th day of December <br />2004, by the following called vote: <br />
