Roles <br />The expected tasks and responsible parties are described in the following bullet list: <br />Alameda County Waste Management Authority agrees to provide the following <br />assistance to ensure the success of this project: <br />• Incentive payments to the City of San Leandro on the following schedule: <br />1. $22,963 due in July 2003 upon submittal of an invoice by the City <br />{submitted and paid September 2003). <br />2. $44,444.50 due in February 2004 upon submittal of an invoice by the City <br />{submitted for payment January 21, 2004). <br />3. $24,444.50 due in July 2004 upon submittal of an invoice by the City. <br />City of San Leandro agrees to provide the following to ensure the ongoing success of <br />this project: <br />• Environmental Services staff to work with ACI -and Tandem Staffing to <br />implement the project. <br />~ Arrangements for the coupons and larger prizes, the execution of the contests and <br />the publicity of the project to the local media. <br />Liabilities <br />Each party shall be responsible for acts or omissions for their employees or agents. <br />Terms <br />1. All parties commit to active participation in this project through the end of the <br />2004/2005 fiscal year. <br />2. A final report will be submitted to ACWMA by the City on or before June 30t", 2005, <br />summarizing the results of the project, the pre- and post-contest weights of organics <br />and garbage set out by residents, media coverage of the contests, any interviews or <br />anecdotal feedback from residents about the project, an evaluation of the <br />effectiveness of the "Incentive -value" of the contests, and an accounting of the grant <br />funds expended. <br />
