WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has been awarded grant funds in the amount of <br />$3,800,856; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />Agrees to provide the local matching fund amount of $2,046,615 identified in the <br />Library Project Budget, as required by Education Code Section 19995(a), and certifies that the <br />land that will be utilized for the matching fund requirement was not purchased with funds from <br />the "Class Size Reduction Kindergarten-University Public Education Facilities Bond Act of <br />1998"; and <br />2. Agrees to provide supplemental funds of $68,018 necessary to complete the <br />project as stated in the project budget; and <br />Certifies that the local matching and supplemental funds specified in the project <br />budget will be available when they are needed to meet cash flow requirements for the project; <br />and <br />4. Agrees to commit to the project budget of $5,915,488 contained in the Library <br />Project Budget section of the Application Form, contingent upon award of grant funding; and <br />Appoints the City Manager as agent to conduct all negotiations, execute and <br />submit all documents including, but not limited to, applications, agreements, payment requests <br />and so on, which maybe necessary for the completion of the project(s); and <br />6. Attests to the accuracy and truthfulness of all information submitted in the <br />Application Form and the required supporting documents; and <br />7. Commits to operate the completed facility and provide public library direct <br />service; and <br />
