EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES This is a supplemental agreement to the previous contract with Kennedy/Jerks for the upgrade of Aeration Tank B. This work involves additional design services required for the upgrade of the electrical system, provide flexible operation and control to the blowers in the two aeration tanks. The scope of services are outlined under the following tasks Additional Scope of Work -Electrical 1. Provide a control interlock with the inlet filter monitoring system to shut down the blower when a high differential pressure condition is detected across the filter. 2. Provide a control interlock with the surge monitoring system to shut down the blower when a high surge condition (low motor current) is detected. 3. Provide a 4-20 maDC signal for monitoring the Aeration Basin B dissolved oxygen (DO) value at the Operations Building. This requires a new instrumentation cable to be installed in existing conduits from the Fisher Porter (F&P) controller panel to the graphic panel in the Operation Building. 4. Provide control interlocks for the three blowers to allow only two blowers to run at any one time. Blowers will be manually selected to operate. This means that modifications to the existing starter control circuit for Blower No. 1 will be required. 5. Upgrade the existing feeder to main control center (MCC) "K". Additional Scope of Work -Process and Mechanical Contractor shall incorporate in the design work changes in the process control strategy to provide flexible operation and control of dual blowers. This will provide a blower control system that is based on the dissolved oxygen level in either or both tanks and will control one or both blowers in operation.
