IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 - 090 (2972) <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE FY 2002-2003 <br />CONSOLIDATED ACTION PLAN TO DELETE FROM THE PROJECT LIST ADA <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO CHABOT AND HALYCON PARKS, TO CLOSE THE <br />HANDICAP RAMP PROJECT, TO ADD BONAIRE PARK RENOVATION AND <br />MEMORIAL PARK DESIGN AND TO CHANGE THE SCOPE OF WORK ON <br />CHERRY GROVE PARK FROM ADA IMPROVEMENTS TO DESIGN OF THE <br />CHERRY GROVE PARK PLAYGROUND <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Government has made Community Development Block <br />Grant (CDBG) funding available to local communities to meet local community <br />development objectives; and <br />WI~REAS, the City Council approved the 2002-2003 Consolidated Action Plan <br />on April 15, 2002; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended amending the 2002-2003 <br />Consolidated Action Plan to: (1) delete the ADA Improvements to the Chabot Park <br />Playground and the Halcyon Park Playground ($264,402), (2) close the Handicap Ramp <br />at City Hall project ($29,672), (3) add renovation of Bonaire Park at the cost of $374,000 <br />($342,277 plus $31,723 pre-award from the 2003-2004 program year grant), (4) add the <br />design of Memorial Park ($40,000 pre-award for design from the 2003-2004 grant) and <br />(5) change the ADA Improvements of Cherry Grove Park to design and renovate Cherry <br />Grove Park. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does <br />RESOLVE as follows: <br />1 <br />
