IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2003- 091 (2874/ 2979/2980) RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE REMOVAL OF POLES, OVERHEAD WIRES AND ASSOCIATED OVERHEAD STRUCTURES FROM PORTIONS OF EAST 14TH STREET AND THE SOUTHERN CITY LIMITS TO 150TH AVENUE AND ABUTTING PROPERTIES, INCLUDING INTERSECTING STREETS Recitals Pursuant to a resolution of this Council and notice duly given, a public hearing on the matter or removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures from the hereinafter described areas was regularly held on Apri17, 2003. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That this Council hereby determines that such removal will avoid an unusually heavy concentration of overhead distribution facilities, that the streets in the hereinafter described areas are extensively used by the general public and carry a heavy volume of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, and be it further RESOLVED, THAT THIS Council hereby determines that the public necessity, health and safety require the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures and the underground installation of wires and facilities for supplying electric, communication, cable, or similar associated service, in the following areas: A. East 14th Street, from a line parallel with and approximately along the southerly right-of--way line of 150th Avenue to the southerly City limits of East 14th Street; B. Assessor's Parcel Numbers 77D-1495-13, 77D-1495-3, 77D-1495-5-5, 77D-1490- 16-2, 80C-500-32, 80C-500-33, 80C-500-5, 77D-1495-022, 77D-1495-015, 77D- 1495-021, 77D-1496-003-02, 77D-1496-001-08 inclusive; and be it further
