IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003- 092 (2874/2979/2980) <br />RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE REMOVAL OF POLES, OVERHEAD WIRES AND <br />ASSOCIATED OVERHEAD STRUCTURES FROM PORTIONS OF EAST 14TH STREET <br />AND 150TH AVENUE TO LILLIAN AVENUE AND ABUTTING PROPERTIES, <br />INCLUDING INTERSECTING STREETS <br />Recitals <br />Pursuant to a resolution of this Council and notice duly given, a public hearing on the <br />matter of removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures from the <br />hereinafter described areas was regularly held on April 7, 2003. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the city Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That this Council hereby determines that such removal will avoid an unusually heavy <br />concentration of overhead distribution facilities, that the streets in the hereinafter described areas <br />are extensively used by the general public and carry a heavy volume of pedestrian and vehicular <br />traffic, and be it further <br />RESOLVED, THAT THIS Council hereby determines that the public necessity, health <br />and safety require the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures and <br />the underground installation of wires and facilities for supplying electric, communication, cable, <br />or similar associates service, in the following areas: <br />A. East 14th Street, from a line parallel with and approximately along the northerly <br />right-of--way line of 150th Avenue to Lillian Avenue; <br />B. Assessor's Parcel Numbers 77E-1606-005-10, 77E-1606-006-03, 77E-1593-017- <br />00, 77E-1593-01.5-00, 77E-1593-012-02, 77E-1593-013-08, 77E-1593-010-02, <br />77E-1593-009, 77D-1499-001, 77D-1475-025-12, 77D-1475-026-05, 77D-1475- <br />
