• Partner with City IT Staff throughout the entire project, providing hands-on training
and knowledge transfer to the staff.
Network Infrastructure Upgrades
ExtraTeam shall complete the following Network infrastructure tasks, which are required for
the new AD, or themselves require an existing AD:
• Design and Installation of Cisco's Secure ACS server (City Hall & Police, redundant),
and integration of Router/Switch AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting)
into Active Directory. ACS will be designed to easily give other future benefits,
including Wireless network authentication and security.
• Conversion of ALL remaining ISDN-sites to DSL-Internet connections with secure
firewalls. Secure access to CityNET will be via IPSEC tunnel.
• Setup of BACKUP internet connection at City Hall using aloes-cost DSL line. The
BACKUP connection will offer automatic backup for in-bound DNS and SMTP (this is
the primary purpose of the line). However, manual backup will be possible for City-
wide outbound internet connection failover. Additionally, the DSL line will be useful
for general internet troubleshooting and testing.
• Completion of setup for routed connections:
o Move WPCP from Osicom Bridge to Cisco routed solution.
o Move Marina-CC router and configure Marina-CC router for routed connection.
• Configure redundant "DMZ-utility switch". Assist with setup and configuration of
CityNET DMZ.
• Determine redundancy possibilities with McAfee E250 appliance and assist City IT
staff in configuring the redundancy (if redundancy is possible).
• Update existing network documentation (Visio drawings) and produces new
documentation -relevant to the above changes.
• Assess any benefits gained from upgrading IOS on recently installed CORE LAYER-III
devices. Determine if upgrade is warranted, and perform IOS upgrades.
• Design and implement an overall system which conforms to CLETS (California Law
Enforcement Telecommunications System) and DOJ (Department of Justice)
requirements.
• Partner with City IT Staff throughout the entire project, providing hands-on training
and knowledge transfer to the staff.
EXHIBIT A-1
