2.7 Construction Administration <br />Contractor to provide construction support services to the City in monitoring the <br />execution of the construction work for conformance with design intent, contract <br />requirements, schedules, and cost limits. Work shall be performed on an hourly basis <br />based on pre-approval by the City. City shall have the primary responsibility for this <br />phase of services and shall be the primary point of contact. Services to include the <br />following: <br />• Respond to contractor requests for information (BFI's) <br />• Review contractor submittals <br />• Perform site inspections as requested by the City of San Leandro <br />• Assistance in evaluating contractor change order requests <br />• Performing regular site visits to observe construction as requested <br />• Attending regular job site meetings <br />• Processing of shop drawings, and submittals <br />• Evaluating cost estimates for change order requests <br />• Issuing clarifications and change orders <br />• Approving monthly progress payment requests <br />• Preparation of a final punch list <br />• Prepare Record Drawings at the completion of construction. <br />2.8 City Tasks: <br />The City shall perform the following tasks: <br />• Provide City standard title block. <br />• Provide City standard details <br />• Provide topographic survey in AutoCAD 2000 compatible format <br />• Provide Geotechnical Report Route construction documents sets to appropriate <br />City personnel for review <br />• Review schematic design development set, and provide comments <br />• Review design development set, and provide comments <br />• Review 60% construction document set, and provide comments <br />• Review 95% construction document set, and provide comments <br />• Advertise project and make copies of construction documents for bidding <br />• Route construction documents sets to appropriate City personnel for review <br />2.9 Exclusions: <br />The following items are not included in this contract: <br />1. Hazardous materials testing and remediation is excluded. <br />2. Waterslide design and engineering will be provided by manufacturer. Contractor <br />to provide basis for slide design and select a suitable vendor that provides such <br />design services. <br />3. We assume that the building addition is the range of 1,500 gross sf, and includes: <br />waterslide enclosure, entry lobby, control desk and aquatic supervisor office. <br />4. Minimal associated site work at patio and building additions. Utilities are <br />assumed to be existing to the site and adequate to serve the project. <br />5.
