2.05 Neighborhood Workshop: A second neighborhood workshop will be facilitated by the <br />consultant, to present and review the schematic design. <br />2.06 Revisions: The Preliminary Design will be revised as necessary to incorporate the results <br />of the second neighborhood workshop. The Preliminary Design will then be in final form, <br />ready for presentation by City Staff to City Council or the Facilities Committee. <br />3.0 CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />3.01 35% Submittal: Prepare 35% complete construction documents with layout of all major <br />elements clearly defined. The specific drawing index will likely include the following: <br />a) cover sheet <br />b) demolition plan <br />c) grading and drainage plan <br />d) site construction plan <br />e) playground area enlargement plan and details <br />f) detail drawings for all of the above <br />g) irrigation plan and details <br />h) planting plan and details <br />i} outline of technical specifications ("green book") <br />j) estimate of probable construction costs <br />Submit above to City staff for review and comment; conduct joint meeting with City <br />departments to facilitate review. <br />3.02 70% and 100% Submittal: Prepare 70% and 100% submittal packages of construction <br />documents incorporating comments received on design development submittal, along <br />with an estimate of probable construction cost in bid form format. <br />3.03 Staff Meeting: Allow for one staff meeting at the 70% submittal and another at the 100% <br />submittal for review and comment. <br />3.04 Final Plans, Specifications and Estimate: Provide City with one hard copy of plans, <br />specifications, and cost opinion. Drawings to be vellum, signed and stamped by <br />consultant as applicable. Also, include one electronic copy of the fmal documents for <br />City's use in bidding. <br />4.0 BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION <br />4.01 Construction Review: Provide construction support services to the City in monitoring <br />the contractors' execution of the work for conformance with design intents, contract <br />requirements, schedules, and cost limits. Work shall be performed on an hourly basis <br />based on pre-approval by the City.
