1. ENGINEER'S LETTER WHEREAS, the City E@neer ("City Engineer") of the City of San Leandro (the "City"), State of California, pursuant to Chapter 5, Title II of the San Leandro Municipal Code, ordered the Annual Engineer's Report for the Heron Bay Maintenance Assessment District, Assessment District No. 96-3 ("District") to be prepared; WHEREAS, the City Engineer directed the N~B~S to prepare and file the Annual Engineer's Report presenting plans and specifications describing the general nature, location and extent of the improvements to be maintained, an estimate of the costs of the maintenance, operations and servicing of the improvements for the District for the referenced fiscal year, a diagram for the District, showing the area and properties to be assessed, and an assessment of the estimated costs of the maintenance, operations and servicing the improvements, assessing the net amount upon all assessable lots and/or parcels within the District in proportion to the special benefit received; NOW THEREFORE, the following assessment is made to cover the portion of the estimated costs of maintenance, operation and servicing of said improvements to be paid by the assessable real property within the District in proportion to the special benefit received: SUMMARY OF ASSESSMENT Estimated Fiscal Year 2003/04 Costs Maintenance Contingency Administration Estimated 2003J04 Costs 2003/04 Estimated Funds Sources Assessments at 80.32% of Maximum 2003104 Assessments 451 Single Family Detached @ $411.38 178 Motor Court Units @ $274.24 Tota12003/04 Assessments As Preliminarily Approved $208,900.00 10,445.00 15,000.00 $234,345.00 $234,347.10 $185,532.38 48,814.72 $234,347.10 As Confirmed 1-1
