IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 200 3 ~l 81 (3 0 0 0 ) <br />RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE LOCAL AGENCY <br />WORKERS' COMPEMATION EXCESS JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY (LAWCX) TO <br />PROVIDE WORKERS' COMPENSATION EXCESS PROTECTION FOR THE CITY <br />Recitals <br />A resolution to enter into an agreement with the Local Agency Workers' Compensation <br />Excess Joint Powers Authority (LAWCX), has been presented to this Council. <br />The City Council is familiar with the cantents thereof. <br />The City Manager has recommended the approval of said document. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution thereof by the City Manager is <br />hereby authorized. <br />Introduced by Council Member G 1 a z e and passed and adopted <br />this 21st day of July 2003, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council <br />AYES: Councilmembers <br />Stephens; Mayor <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />Badger, Glaze, Grant, Nardine, Santos, <br />Young (7) <br />(o) <br />(0) <br />Attest: ClM ,~~~-{~~1~,~.. <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
