IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003- 220 (1925/2639) <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE PRIORITIZED LIST OF BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN <br />PROJECTS FOR MEASURE B FL7NDS AND APPROPRIATION OF MEASURE B <br />BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN FUNDS FOR THE UPDATE OF THE BIKEWAY PLAN <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, Measure B Bicycle and Pedestrian funds have been allocated to the City <br />based on population share by the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority to be <br />used for bicycle and pedestrian projects identified on a City Council approved prioritized list; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the project list currently does not include the update of the Bikeway Plan <br />and the update of the Bikeway Plan is required in order to be eligible for grant funding programs; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the update of the Bikeway Plan is eligible for Measure B Bicycle and <br />Pedestrian funding once the project list is amended to include the update of the Bikeway Plan, <br />entitled the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE that <br />the Bicycle and Pedestrian Measure B Projects list is amended to include the development of the <br />Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that $67,140 of Measure B Bicycle and Pedestrian funds <br />be appropriated for development of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan. <br />Introduced by Council Member Santos and passed and adopted <br />this 3rd day of November 2003, by the following vote: <br />
