EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT Contractor shall provide design services for the conceptual studies and the completion of construction documents for street renovations for the Downtown Area. The work will be coordinated with adjacent design work. The Downtown Area, as shown on the attached Figure 1, is more specifically defined as follows: • Washington Square Mall Pedestrian North- South Walkway-North-South pedestrian path between West Joaquin and West Juana Avenue • Washington Square Mall Parking Lot Lane-Eastside lane between Lyons Restaurant and West Juana Avenue • Washington Avenue between West Juana and Parrott Street • Washington Square Mall Parking Lot Lane-Westside lane between Davis Street and West Juana Avenue • Hays Street between Davis Street and West Juana Ave • West Joaquin between East 14th Street and Washington Square Mall (WSM) Westside Lane • Parrott Street between East 14th Street and Washington Avenue • Washington Square Mall Pedestrian Northern East/West Pathway. The path aligned east/west between and parallel to West Estudillo Avenue and West Joaquin with eastern end at East 14th Street • Washington Square Mall Pedestrian Southern EastlWest Pathway. The path aligned eastlwest between and parallel to West Joaquin and West Juana Avenue with eastern end at East 14th Street • Note that the West Estudillo Avenue Corridor is not included in the above area as it is included in a separate project. Improvements proposed within the project area include upgrading existing street lighting by replacement with, or addition of, decorative street lighting on all the above described streets. Additional pedestrian and streetscape improvements are also included for special areas within the Washington Plaza Shopping Center near the West Joaquin Corridor from East I4th Street to CSA-Winzler and Kelly Page 3 of 30 Downtown Lighting and Pedestrian Enhancements Project No. 961-83-054
