If Waste Management consists of more than one person, the obligation of <br />all such persons is joint and several. <br />13.3 Merger. This Lease is intended both as the final expression of the agreement between City and Waste <br />Management with respect to the included terms, and as a complete and exclusive statement of the terms of <br />their agreement, pursuant to California Code of Civil Procedure Section 1856, <br />13.4 Applicable Law, This Lease shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of <br />California. <br />13,5 No Discrimination. Waste Management herein covenants by and for the Waste Management and Waste <br />Management's heirs, personal representatives and assigns, and all persons claiming under the Waste <br />Management or through the Waste Management, that this Lease is made subject to the condition that there <br />shall be no discrimination against or segregation of any person or of a group of persons on account of race, <br />color, religion, creed, sex, marital status, ancestry, or national origin in the leasing, subleasing, transferring, <br />use, occupancy, tenure or enjoyment of the land herein leased nor shall the Waste Management or any person <br />claiming under or through the Waste Management establish or permit any such practice or practices of <br />discrimination or segregation with reference to the selection, location, number, use or occupancy of Waste <br />622009-1 18 <br />
