Task 2.9 -Initial Site Assessment <br />Initial Site Assessment (ISA) -Contractor shall perform a site reconnaissance to evaluate <br />possible current, on right-of--way features that could be of environmental concern. <br />Historical aerial photographs and a commercial database that identifies documented <br />environmental cases on and near the right-of--way will be reviewed. No review of <br />regulatory agency files is anticipated since it is assumed that the project will not involve <br />dewatering. Contractor shall document its results in the ISA. <br />Task 2.10 -Preliminary Site Investigation <br />Preliminary Site Investigation (PSI) -Contractor shall prepare a PSI to document the <br />recommendations and results of the soil sampling testing performed under Task 2.8. Soil <br />sampling requirements for hazardous material conducted in accordance with the ISA <br />results but limited to the scope identified in Task 2.8. <br />Task 2 Deliverables <br />• Caltrans Encroachment Permit Application for Design Related Work <br />• Initial Site Assessment <br />• Preliminary Site Investigation <br />• Geotechnical Design Report <br />• Alternative Geometric Design Meeting Minutes <br />Alternative Geometric Designs <br />Task 3: 30% PS&E Submittal (Design Development) <br />Contractor shall prepare 30% Plans and Estimate for the Project which shall be based on <br />the City existing conceptual plan and the preferred alternative described in Task 2.3. <br />Task 3.1-Base Sheet Preparation <br />Contractor shall use City provided aerial to develop and determine base sheets layout. <br />Project plan sheets shall be prepared in accordance with the City's drafting standards and <br />will be on City's standard borders and supplemented with drafting standards required by <br />Caltrans for permit processing. <br />Task 3.2 -Base Sheets Modifications <br />Contractor shall identify the surveyed topographic features and incorporate data into the <br />existing Project aerial base in accordance with Task 2.5. Survey data shall supplement <br />existing base sheet information. <br />Task 3.3 -Parking Lot Design <br />Contractor shall perform a review of the parking lot layout in the City conceptual plan. <br />Vehicle turning analysis will be conducted. Contractor shall incorporate City approved <br />stakeholder input for the parking lot modifications and staging. <br />Task 3.4 -Drainage Analysis <br />Contractor shall perform a drainage analysis, including an analysis of the existing <br />drainage system and inlet capacity calculations, to support the proposed drainage design. <br />Contractual Services Agreement Design Services Page 6 of 38 <br />Revised 5-02 Westgate Extension to Williams Street Project, Project No. 03-144-39-003, ACTIA Project No. l S <br />
