IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO.2002-15 ~ (232 3 ) RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INCREASE TO THE CONTRACTUAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MWH AMERICAS, INC., TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE 2001-2002 SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT (DAVIS STREET, DONOVAN DRIVE TO THRASHER PARK, AND MARINA BOULEVARD, DOOLITTLE DRIVE TO MERGED STREET), PROJECT NO. 01-593-52-115 (XREF 99-593-52-117) Recitals WHEREAS, a contractual services agreement between the City of San Leandro and MWH Americas, Inc. (MWH), was approved by City Council on November 1, 1999 by Resolution No. 99-160, for professional design services associated with improvements and replacement of sanitary sewers on Davis Street; and, WHEREAS, the construction methods to be utilized in the planned rehabilitation of sanitary sewers on Marina Boulevard are similar to those on Davis Street; and, WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of San Leandro to combine the construction of the Davis Street and Marina Boulevard sanitary sewer projects; and, WHEREAS, the inclusion of the Marina Boulevard sanitary sewer will require additional design services by MWH above the limits prescribed in the aforementioned contractual services agreement; and, WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended approval of an increase to said agreement in the amount of $41,512 for said additional services, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That said increase of $41,512 is hereby approved and execution thereof by the City Manager is hereby authorized.
