These measures should sewinclude landscaping and buffering, and could also include additional sound insulation for homes,- and redirecting business traffic to non-residential streets. The proposed Westgate Parkway extension should be designed to mitigate truck traffic and noise impacts on the Timothy neighborhood. Extensive participation by area residents should be actively encouraged for any strategy impacting this area.
