IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002- 66 (2047) <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE SAN LEANDRO <br />APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN ALAMEDA COUNTY WASTE <br />MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY AND THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF A RESIDENTIAL FOODWASTE COLLECTION PROGRAM <br />RECITALS <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Waste Management Authority ("Authority") desires to <br />implement a residential food waste collection program to assist in waste reduction efforts in <br />Alameda County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority has agreed to provide funding to the City for participation in a <br />residential food waste collection program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority and the City have negotiated an Agreement to implement a <br />residential food waste collection program in the City of San Leandro. <br />follows: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby resolves as <br />1. The Agreement between Alameda County Waste Management Authority and the City of <br />San Leandro is approved and the City Manager is directed to execute the Agreement and <br />any and all other documents necessary to implement the terms and conditions thereof. <br />2.
