.~ <br />SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br />TITLE 6 FINANCE <br />Chapter 2 <br />Utility User Tax Exemption <br />6.2.100: ESTABLISHMENT OF CERTAIN EXEMPTION. The Finance Director is <br />ereb authorized and directed to im lement a s stem to rovide exem tions from_ _ __ ____ __ <br />y p y p ~_ _ __p_ __ the Utility <br />User Tax for qualifying residential user~____________ _____ <br />-------------------------------------------- <br />6.2.105: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA. The following eligibility criteria are established for the <br />specified exemptions: <br />(a) Successful application for and acceptance in Pacific Gas & Electric Company's <br />(PG&E) California Alternate Rates For Energy (CARE) Program, with eligibility <br />criteria and verification as required by PG&E. <br />(b) Successful application for and acceptance in Pacific Bell's Universal Lifeline <br />(Lifeline) Program, r~~ith eligibility criteria and verification as required by Pacific <br />Bell. <br />6.2.110: FILING. The exemptions pursuant to this Chapter ~effective_unti] such time as _ <br />applicant no longer qualifies for PG&E's CARE program or Pacific Bell's Lifeline pram, <br />PG&E or Pacific Bell terminates said programs,_ or until June 30, 200. _ The_City Council shall __,_. <br />have the authority to extend said program for an additional period of time after review of the <br />fiscal impacts of said exemptions. <br />6.2.115: NON-APPLICABILITY.
