Each group will be able to charrette and give feedback on the Land Use and Streetscape
Concepts. Because of the relative complexity of the Development Concepts and the limited time
of the charrette, each table will review a different concept.
Following the charrette, the attendees will reconvene to present their ideas to the rest of the
group, picking one or two representatives to present. A short question and answer period may
follow each presentation. The CD+A Team will then follow with a discussion highlighting key
points of consensus and review elements which may need refinement and lead the group to arrive
at a general consensus on the Preferred Land Use, Streetscape, and Development Concepts.
Work Products:
^ Copies of land use, streetscape, and development concept maps; tables summarizing
land use programs; project objectives; copies of vignette sketches showing
improvements; boards illustrating case study projects as examples of potential
development.
• Public input summary memorandum.
Task 5.2: SAAC Meeting #5
SAAC members will convene to review the feedback provided, objectives established, and the
alternatives selected from Workshop #2. This will allow the SAAC members to give direction to
the CD+A Team in refining the design concepts to arrive at the Draft Preferred Alternatives for
the Land use, Streetscape, and Opportunity Site Development Concepts.
Work Products:
^ None.
Task 6: Refine Design Concepts
The CD+A Team will refine the design concepts into Draft Preferred Alternatives based upon
input from the public, the SAAC, and City Staff. In conjunction with this effort, the Team will
refine the implementation matrix, tying appropriate implementation tools and concepts to the
Draft Preferred Alternatives.
At this point, Urban Advantage will take the existing conditions photos taken during Task 4 and
will begin developing the photo-simulations in order to show what the Refined Opportunity Site
Development Concepts are recommending. Minor adjustments can be made as the plans are
refined.
Work Products:
Refined Land Use, Streetscape, and Opportunity Site Development Concepts.
Up to 4photo-simulations of the Refined Opportunity Site Development Concepts.
Refined implementation tools menu/matrix and memorandum.
EXHIBIT A Page 10 of 14
AGRE~EXHIBITA.DOC (Word 6.0)
