EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />This scope of work represents the CD+A Consulting Team's approach for creating a creative and <br />well-founded Land Use, Urban Design, and Streetscape Concept Plan for the southern segment of <br />East 14th Street, and the tools that are needed to implement the plans. <br />Phase l: Data Collection and Analysis <br />Task 1: On-going Project Management & Additional <br />Meetings <br />CD+A and members of the CD+A Team use an open management approach in which <br />communications between the consultants and the City's Project Manager will occur on an as- <br />neededbasis and supplemented by more formal status and management meetings as required to <br />efficiently move the project forward. Project status memoranda will be included with the monthly <br />invoices that CD+A will forward to the Project Manager and can be followed-up with phone <br />conferences as necessary. <br />Work Products: <br />^ Monthly project status memoranda. <br />Task 1.1: Optional Additional Meetings <br />Attendance at additional meetings -meetings not covered within this scope of work -will be <br />charged on a time and materials basis, per the billing rates provided in the proposed budget for <br />the specific team members who are asked by the City to attend any additional meetings. This task <br />maybe further discussed during Task 2.1.2, and throughout the project as necessary. <br />Task 2: Project Initiation <br />In this task, the CD+A Team will verify their understanding of the project and work with City <br />Staff to refine the proposed scope of work. The CD+A Team will also gather base information for <br />the production of a base map for use throughout the process and pertinent documents which will <br />inform the existing conditions analysis. <br />Task 2.1: Kick-off Meeting <br />Task 2.1.1: Gather and Review Base Information <br />The CD+A Team, in communication with City Staff, will gather base information for the study <br />area, including aerial photos, GIS data, parcel data, and pertinent written documentation (the <br />EXHIBIT A Page 1 of 14 <br />AGRE~EXffiBITA.DOC (Word 6.0) <br />
