City's General Plan and Zoning Ordinance) to begin assessment of baseline conditions. A base <br />map will be created at the parcel level to be used throughout the process. As much information as <br />possible should be made available for pick up during Task 2.1.2 in order to further the process in <br />a timely manner. Follow-up conversations will be conducted in order to gather information not <br />available during Task 2.1.2. <br />Work Products: <br />^ Corridor base map. <br />^ Memorandum with additional information request, if necessary. <br />Task 2.1.2: Scope of Work Review with Staff <br />In this initial task, the CD+A Team, led by Mr. Erickson and Mr. Kronemeyer, will work with <br />City Staff to refine the draft scope of work, schedule, and budget. This will include refinements to <br />the assumptions of how the work of the CD+A Team will be coordinated with City Staff efforts <br />in the project, and refinements based upon clarification of some assumptions regarding the <br />breadth and detail of the work needed to complete the project. Also, the inclusion of specific <br />optional tasks can be discussed at this point, although opportunities will exist as the project <br />moves forward to implement optional tasks. <br />Work Products: <br />^ Revised scope of work, schedule, and budget. <br />Task 2.2: SAAC Meeting #1 Project Initiation <br />This initial project meeting with the East 14`h Street South Area Advisory Committee (SAAC) <br />will provide the opportunity for the CD+A Team to hear SAAC members' concerns and issues <br />regarding the development of the Corridor first hand. This task, along with Task 2.1.2, will give <br />additional focus to the existing conditions work and better define design issues by highlighting <br />primary concern of City Staff and SAAC members. <br />At this meeting, the CD+A Team, the SAAC members, and City Staff will draft an initial set of <br />objectives for the Corridor, using the General Plan as a starting point, in order to present them to <br />the public and to guide the plan development concepts. <br />Work Products: <br />^ Draft project objectives and SAAC Meeting #1 summary memorandum. <br />Task 2.3: Finalize Scope of Work <br />Given the feedback from SAAC members, the CD+A Team will work with City Staff to finalize <br />the scope of work, schedule, and budget for the San Leandro Land Use, Urban Design, & <br />Streetscape Improvement Plan. <br />EXHIBIT A Page 2 of 14 <br />AGRE~EXHIBITA.DOC (Word 6.0) <br />
