injury, such employee may be assigned modified duty if <br />reasonable accommodation can be made. Modified duty may <br />be assigned after medical release by a City -designated <br />physician, which indicates the employee's work <br />restrictions. <br />Section 29. Health and Welfare <br />29.1 The IRS 125 plan shall continue. The plan shall provide <br />the following: <br />a. Pretax conversion of employee contribution toward <br />medical premiums. <br />b. Medical Flexible Spending Account with a maximum <br />employee pretax contribution of three thousand <br />($3,000.00) per benefit plan year. <br />C. Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account with a <br />maximum employee pretax contribution of five <br />thousand ($5,000.00) per benefit plan year. <br />The City will maintain a "core flex" medical benefit plan. <br />The core shall consist of the PERS Medical Plan and the <br />existing Delta Dental Plan. <br />Under Ca1PERS rules, the City will contribute sixteen <br />dollars ($16.00) per employee per month towards the health <br />plan. <br />The City will contribute the following monthly amount, <br />including the PERS contribution, towards the election of <br />medical benefits in the plan. <br />Employee $210.17 <br />Employee +1 $420.34 <br />Family $546.44 <br />Each January, these amounts will be adjusted by an amount <br />equal to the change (increase or decrease) in the Kaiser N <br />Premium. <br />Employees electing to enroll in the PERS Medical Plans <br />will be required to contribute the difference between the <br />above amounts and the actual cost of the medical plan <br />premium. Such employee contribution will be on a pre-tax <br />basis as specified above. <br />33 <br />
