Councilmember <br />Gregory announced there will be a blood drive on Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m. at the <br />Main Library. <br /> <br />Mayor Santos commented that the City Manager Office staff has been reduced by five <br />employees in the past eight years. He called Bill Lockyer he Father of the Bay Trail <br />hoped the slough bridge could be named for him. Mayor Santos commented that he is still <br />receiving phone calls about San Leandro Hospital, and he suggested keeping the <br />emergency room open until a measure can be placed on the ballot. Mayor Santos commented <br />on a recent report showing low crime rate, and on its exceptional public safety <br />djourned in memory of <br />Marie Underwood; Officer Dan Niemi; Lisl Schaffner; Florence Ann Silva; and Brandan <br />Allan Stark, who passed away at age 22, after spending his final years at the George Mark <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />13.
