IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-122 (3163) <br />RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT TO GALEDRIGE CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br />FOR THE 1550 EAST 14TH STREET AND 262 DAVIS STREET TEMPORARY PARKING <br />LOTS, PROJECT NO. 09-962-86-070 AND 09-961-83-077 <br />Recitals <br />The City of San Leandro did, on August 19, 2009, publicly open, examine and declare all <br />sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2009-110 of the Council <br />of said City adopted on July 20, 2009, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a <br />description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br />Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br />recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br />work. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br />mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br />bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder <br />therefore, to wit: Galedrige Construction, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office <br />of the City Clerk. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 8th day of September, <br />2009, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: `~~ ~GIM(~~- <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
