IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTI'Y OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2009- <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING THE SURPLUS OF EIGHT (8) VEHICLES, EIGHT (8) PIECES <br />OF HEAVY EQUIl'MENT, AND ONE (1) MOTORCYCLE AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE <br />THEREOF AT PUBLIC AUCTION <br />WHEREAS, Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizes the City's <br />Purchasing Agent to sell equipment which has become unsuitable or unnecessary for the City <br />purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, eight (8) vehicles, eight (8) pieces of heavy equipment, and one (1) motorcycle <br />have been identified as no longer useful to City operations and therefore should be declared surplus <br />and sold at auction. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />Following public notice as may be required by law and in accordance with Section 1-6-500 <br />of the San Leandro Municipal Code the declaration of surplus and authorization of the sale of eight <br />(8) vehicles, eight (8) pieces of heavy equipment, and one (1) motorcycle at public auction <br />scheduled November 7, 2009 is hereby noted. <br />Introduced by Councilmember <br />October, 2009 by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />and passed and adopted this 5`h day of <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />G:~PURCHA5ING~AUCTION-sALES~AUCTIONRESOLUTTON.CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 5, 2009.DOCX <br />
