IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-137 (1556) <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING THE SURPLUS OF EIGHT (8) VEHICLES, EIGHT (8) PIECES <br />OF HEAVY EQUIl'MENT, AND ONE (1) MOTORCYCLE AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE <br />THEREOF AT PUBLIC AUCTION <br />WHEREAS, Section 1-6-500 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorizes the City's <br />Purchasing Agent to sell equipment which has become unsuitable or unnecessary for the City <br />purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, eight (8) vehicles, eight (8) pieces of heavy equipment, and one (1) motorcycle <br />have been identified as no longer useful to City operations and therefore should be declared surplus <br />and sold at auction. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />Following public notice as may be required by law and in accordance with Section 1-6-500 <br />of the San Leandro Municipal Code the declaration of surplus and authorization of the sale of eight <br />(8) vehicles, eight (8) pieces of heavy equipment, and one (1) motorcycle at public auction <br />scheduled November 7, 2009 is hereby noted. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 5~' day of October, 2009, <br />by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak (5) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Stephens; Mayor Santos (2) <br />ATTEST: ~,OV~.~-~lil <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
