Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br />Councilmember Prola led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />B. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br />ABSENT: None <br />C. Announcements <br />Mayor Santos announced that, with the concurrence of the Council, he would dispense <br />with the use of speaker cards tonight. <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS <br />A. Resolution No. 2009-129, Resolution Appointing Catherine Vierra Houston as District <br />4 Member to Board of Zoning Adjustments. (1019) <br />M/S/C Starosciak and Souza. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />Newly-appointed Board Member Catherine Vierra Houston took the Oath of Office <br />administered by City Clerk Marian Handa. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS-CITY COUNCIL <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br />A. Matter of Approval of Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report <br />(CAPER) of the 2008-2009 Consolidated Action Plan. <br />
