IN THE CTI'Y COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-141 (1180) <br />RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION N0.2008-100 AND DESIGNATING <br />SIGNATURES ON CITY CHECKS AND PERSON AUTHORIZED TO MAKE FUND <br />1`RANSFERS BY TELEPHONE AND WIRE <br />Section 550 of the San Leandro Charter provides that all city checks shall be authenticated by <br />the signatures of one of two designated persons in the City Manager's Office and one of two <br />designated persons in the Finance Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />Effective October 24, 2009, all monies belonging to the City of San Leandro and deposited in <br />any bank, excepting petty cash funds provided for by Section 550 of the San Leandro Charter, shall be <br />withdrawn by checks authenticated by the signatures of Stephen L. Hollister or Lianne Marshall in the <br />City Manager's Office and Perry H. Carter or Carlota Rodriguez in the Finance Department. The <br />authorization for these designated persons shall also include the capacity to make fund transfers by <br />telephone or wire instruction. <br />And it is further RESOLVED that Resolution No. 2008-100 is hereby rescinded. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Stephens and passed and adopted this 19~' day of October, <br />2009, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: awl. ~,_, <br />Marian Hands, City Clerk <br />
