CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br />Councilmember Souza led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />B. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br />ABSENT: None <br />C. Announcements <br />Mayor Santos announced that, due to the size of the audience, the Council would <br />dispense with the use of speaker cards tonight. <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS <br />A. Resolution No. 2009-139, Resolution Nominating and Appointing Thomas Wagner as <br />San Lorenzo Unified School District Member to Recreation and Parks Commission.(1020) <br />Newly-appointed Commissioner Thomas Wagner took the Oath of Office administered <br />by City Clerk Marian Handa. <br />M/S/C Souza and Starosciak. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />B. Presentation by AT&T of Medallion Commendation to City of San Leandro for <br />Successful Completion of Project Lightspeed Permitting. <br />Shiyama Clunie, Area Manager of External Affairs for AT&T, presented Mayor Santos <br />with the Lightspeed Commendation, and expressed appreciation to the City for its <br />facilitation of the Lightspeed installation process. <br />C. Presentation on the Future of Water by East Bay Municipal Utilities District (EBMUD). <br />EBMUD Director Frank Mellon gave a presentation regarding the District's Water <br />Supply Management Program 2040, a plan for management of the water supply and use <br />
