IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO.2009- <br />RESOLUTION IDENTIFYING THE CITY' S CITY MANAGER, FINANCE DIRECTOR, AND <br />CAPTAIN OF POLICE BUREAU OF SERVICES AS STAFF AUTHORIZED TO APPLY TO <br />THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES ON THE CITY'S BEHALF FOR <br />FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOLLOWING A DECLARED DISASTER <br />WHEREAS, following the declaration of a disaster, the City of San Leandro will be eligible <br />to apply for certain federal financial assistance under P.L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. <br />Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, and/or state financial assistance <br />under the California Disaster Assistance Act. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE that the <br />City's City Manager, Director of Finance, and Captain of Police Bureau of Services are hereby <br />authorized to act as agents for the City of San Leandro for the purposes of applying for said <br />financial assistance through the Governor's Office of Emergency Services. <br />Introduced by Councilmember and passed and adopted this 16th day <br />of November, 2009 by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ATTEST: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
