Review of Local Emergency Proclamations 2 November 16, 2009 <br />the previous review. The Cit~Council shall proclaim the terminating of such local <br />emergency at the earliest possible date that conditions warrant. <br />It is also recommended that this amendment be acted upon as an Urgency Ordinance in order to <br />be able to review the recommended local emergency proclamation on December 7, 2009, should <br />it be passed, without calling for a Special Meeting of the City Council in November. <br />Current City Council Policy <br />Section 3-4-124 of the San Leandro Municipal Code. <br />Previous City Council Action(s) <br />None <br />City_Council Committee Review and Action <br />None <br />Fiscal Impact <br />None <br />CONCLUSION <br />It is recommended that Section 3-4-124 of the San Leandro Municipal Code be amended as an <br />Urgency Ordinance in order to have the City Council's review of local emergency proclamations <br />be consistent with the California Emergency Services Act if and when a local emergency is <br />proclaimed related to the H1N1 Influenza. <br />
