EconStim 09 LSR Local <br />Applicable General Plan Policy <br />December 7, 2009 <br />This action is consistent with Streets and Highway Goal No. 16 of the General Plan and Action <br />Item 16.03-A: Funding for Maintenance. <br />Code Compliance Review <br />This project is Categorically Exempt from the CEQA/NEPA process. <br />Fiscal Impact <br />The ARRA funds of approximately $206,979 will be supplemented by $523,000 of Measure B <br />Streets and Roads funds. These funds were appropriated in the 2007-08 and 2008-09 budgets as <br />part of the Capital Improvement Program in accounts 144-38-286 and 144-38-296. <br />Budget Authority <br />The City Council will need to appropriate funds to cover the grant award for the project. <br />Perry Carter, Inte inan e Director <br />CONCLUSION <br />It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to file an application for the <br />Federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) funding. These funds will <br />be used to rehabilitate Bancroft Avenue from 138th Avenue to 148th Avenue.
