IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-OXX <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROPRIATE $206,979 OF <br />FEDERAL AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) <br />GRANT FUNDS <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro is submitting an application to the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission (MTC) for approximately $206,979 in funding from the Federal <br />American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) for the Bancroft Avenue Street <br />Rehabilitation; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro understands that the ARRA funding is fixed at the <br />programmed amount and any increase in project costs cannot be expected to be funded with <br />additional E1RRA funds; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That $206,979 be appropriated from grant funds. <br />Introduced by Council Member and passed and adopted <br />this 7th day of December 2009, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />Attest: <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />K:AAA-C\COUNCTL~2009U2 DEC 07~ARRA 09 Grant Funds RES 2.doc <br />
