WHEREAS, if the Application is approved by HUD, the County will be the direct grant <br />recipient and will execute the NSP2 grant standard agreement with HUD on behalf of the <br />Consortium and will act in a representative capacity for all Consortium Members in the <br />submission of the Application; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to meet the HUD requirements, it is necessary for each Consortium <br />Member to enter into a Funding Agreement with the County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City Manager is authorized on behalf of the City of San Leandro to enter into a <br />Funding Agreement with Alameda County for the purpose of submitting an application for NSP2 <br />funds. <br />That the City Manager is authorized to sign all documents as may be necessary to enter <br />into a funding agreement. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Prola and passed and adopted this 7th day of December, <br />2009, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (~) <br />NOES: None ~0) <br />ABSENT: None <br />ATTEST: V V l1J~L~/I /1 ~"~W~~. <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />(0) <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-158 2 <br />
