CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br />Councilmember Gregory led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />B. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br />ABSENT: None <br />C. Announcements <br />Mayor Santos called for a few moments of silence in memory of the victims of Pearl <br />Harbor, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS <br />A. Proclamation Declaring December 14, 2009 as "End Polio Day" in San Leandro. <br />Mayor Santos read the "End Polio Day" proclamation, which will be presented to the <br />San Leandro Rotary Club. <br />B. Matter of Nomination and Appointment of Board and Commission Members. <br />• Resolution No. 2009-154, Resolution Renominating and Reappointing Members <br />to the Youth Advisory Commission (renominates and reappoints Tina <br />Kuang, Victor Chen, Christina Luk, David De La Vega, Sergio Villalobos, and <br />Ivan Ung).
