Hollister, <br />City Manager <br />Cynthia Battenber~siness Development Manager <br />Jeff Kay; ~'usiness Development Analyst <br />SUBJECT PROJECT/PROJECTbESCRIPTION: <br />MATTER OF FY 2008-09 REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />LEANDRO ANNUAL REPORT <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council accept by minute order the FY 2008-09 Redevelopment <br />Agency Annual Report. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Section 33080 of the Health and Safety Code requires that the legislative body review the <br />Redevelopment Agency's Annual Report. The Annual Report consists of four major <br />components: <br />(1) The Financial Transactions Report required by the State Controller's Office; <br />(2) Basic Financial Statements and Independent Auditors' Reports prepared by Vavrinek, <br />Trine, Day and Company, LLP; <br />(3) The Housing Activity Report for the State Housing and Community Development <br />Department; and <br />(4) Report on Activities to Eliminate Blight, the Status of Agency Loans, and Property <br />Owned and Acquired by the Agency. <br />The Annual Report is also filed with the State Housing and Community Development <br />Department and the State Controller's office on or before December 31st. In January, staff <br />submits the report components to the City Council for acceptance. <br />Current City Policy: None <br />Previous City Council Action(s) <br />
