Mr. Waldeep Singh and Mr. Dave MacDonald <br />December 4, 2009 <br />Page 3 <br />• Alameda County is subject to all of the condi#ions placed on use of the system in <br />the Approval of Use of Sequoia Voting Systems' System 4.0 Voting System <br />(December 4, 2009, Revision), attached as Exhibit A to this letter <br />• No substitution or modification of the voting system shall be made with respect to <br />any component of the voting system, including the Use Procedures, until the <br />Secretary of State has been notified in writing and has determined that the <br />proposed change or modifcation does not impair the accuracy and efficiency of <br />the voting systems sufficient to require a re-examination and approval <br />• If Sequoia Voting Systems receives an Election Assistance Commission {EAC} <br />Quatification number and receives California approval, for WinEDS 4.0.1166, or <br />any subsequent build for WinEDS version 4.0, prior to the 2010 Consolidated <br />Gubernatorial Genera!
