Cause an increase in traffic that is substantial in relation to the existing ~ ~ ~ Q <br />traffic load and capacity of the street system (i.e., result in a substantial <br />increase in either the number of vehicle trips, the volume to capacity ratio <br />on roads, or congestion at intersections)? <br />Comment: The proposed discount superstore ordinances will not result in <br />any new construction or physical improvements that could result in an <br />increase in traffic that is substantial in relation to the existing traffic load <br />and capacity of the street system. The proposed ordinance does disallow <br />large commercial discount superstores that often generate regional traffic <br />demand and consequently diminish local air quality standards due to the <br />increase in vehicle miles traveled. The water conservation ordinance will <br />have no impact on traffic. <br />b. Exceed, either individually or cumulatively, a level of service standard ~ ~ ~ Q <br />established in the Growth Limitation Plan, the county congestion <br />management agency for designated roads or highways? <br />Comment: The proposed discount superstore ordinances will not result in <br />any new construction or physical improvements that could result in any <br />traffic impacts.. The proposed ordinances does disallow large commercial <br />discount superstores that often generate regional traffic demand and <br />consequently diminish local air quality standards due to the increase in <br />vehicle miles traveled.. The water conservation ordinance will have no <br />impact on traffic. <br />c.
